with Jason Upton at The Call - New York
I guess it all started when at the age of 5, I picked up my brother's ukelele and began playing
"Michael Rowed the Boat Ashore" and other songs that I had heard on the radio and on my parents' stereo.
Then, following in my father's and grandfather's footsteps, I began to play the bass guitar at the age of 12,
and have been playing ever since.

I cut my "bass teeth" on artists like Stanley Clarke, George Clinton, Louis Johnson (Brothers Johnson), Jaco Pastorius,
Alphonso Johnson and Rocco Prestia (Tower of Power).  Currently, I'm studying the stylings of Gary Lunn, Pino Paladino
and Michael Manring.

That was me on "Destination: Beautiful" and "Destination: B Sides" with mae (www.whatismae.com).

I am currently ministering with Andrew Ehrenzeller and have so in the recent past with Adam Cates (www.adamccates.com), Amy Thompson (www.amythompson.net), Angela Pinkston (www.angelapinkston.com), Kari Jobe (www.karijobe.com),
Paul Anleitner (www.paulanleitner.com), Sean Feucht (www.seanfeucht.com), Ray Hughes and the Selah Project Band www.selahministries.com), Jason Upton (www.jasonupton.com), Leonard Jones, Don Potter, JoAnn McFatter and with Phil Baquie (www.philbaquie.com).

The gatherings range from groups of several hundred [Youth conferences, worship concerts, church services and camps),
to several hundred thousand [various festivals and rallies such as The CALL-DC (www.thecallrevolution.com),
Worship City Praise in Nashville, Ichthus and the Inside Out Soul Festival (www.newsoundconcerts.com)].

I have also had the privilege of playing bass on a number of CD projects which can be viewed by clicking on the "discography" link to the left.

The touring schedule for the foreseeable future will take me through literally every state of the Union (except, unfortunately, Hawaii).  I'll hopefully also continue to travel around the world, and have recenlty ministered in Jamaica, Ghana (West Africa), Indonesia, the Philippines and Israel.  (For a post-trip press release on the trip to Israel, please go to http://www.grassrootsmusic.com/magazine/musicnews.php?id=11).

I am passionate about ministering to the Lord through my instrument and the responsibility I have
been given to lay a strong and solid foundation for the rest of the musicians on the platform.
