"O Bread of Life" (click on title to hear)
(c) 2002, William Clark

O Bread of Life
Broken for me
Love crucified
To set me free

O Bread of Life
Broken for me
Has satisfied
All my needs

And because You paid for me Love's greatest price
I give my life, to You my Christ

For me to die is gain, to live is Christ
So I give my life, to You my Christ

O Blood of Life
Poured out for me
Come flowing down
From Calv'ry's Tree

O Blood of Life
Poured out for me
Crimson Fountain
Restoring me

And because You paid for me Love's greatest price
I give my life, to You my Christ

For me to die is gain, to live is Christ
So I give my life, to You my Christ

O Word of Life
Spoken to me
A lamp and light
Unto my feet

O Word of Life
Speaking to me
I will abide
Here at Your feet

And because You paid for me Love's greatest price
I give my life, to You my Christ

For me to die is gain, to live is Christ
So I give my life, to You my Christ

So I sing Holy is the Lord, Holy is the Lord
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb

"God, You Are So Awesome" (click on title to hear)
(c) 2000, Brandon Hampton

God, You are so awesome
Your Presence is so real to me
God, You are so awesome
You're the reason that I sing
(repeat)

So I will praise, always
With my hands lifted up
You fill my cup
Always, I will praise
With my hands lifted up
You're pouring Your love out on me

"I Will Praise You, Lord" (Habakkuk's Song) (click on title to hear)
(c) 2002, William Clark

I will praise You Lord
In all things, I will praise You Lord
In all things, I will praise You Lord
(repeat)

When my way seems dark and lonely
Yet I will praise You Lord
Yes, I will praise You Lord

And when my enemies surround me
Yet I will praise You Lord
Yes, I will praise You Lord

I will praise You Lord
In all things, I will praise You Lord
In all things, I will praise You Lord
(repeat)

And when my heart is tired and broken
Yet I will praise You Lord
Yes, I will praise You Lord

And when my soul is dry and thirsty
Yet I will praise You Lord
Yes, I will praise You Lord

"Take Me Where You Are" (click on title to hear)
(c) 2000, William Clark

Take me where You are
And hold me in Your arms
Shelter me from harm
In that Highest Holy Place
Lord I long to see Your face
It's the one cry of my heart

Lord I seek no greater honor
Than to know You more and more
And to know the higher calling
For this life that You've restored
So here I stand lifting up my hands, singing . . .

Holy are You Lord, so holy are You Lord
You are high and lifted up upon my praise
You are faithful true and just in all Your Ways
Holy are You Lord, Holy are You Lord

Lord I humbly bow my knee
To pour the oil upon the feet
Of the One who died for me
Then You kneel with me to pray
And my heart is swept away
By all the Love you've shown for me

Lord I seek no greater honor
Than to be crucified with Christ
To live a life that's pure and holy
As a living sacrifice
So here I stand lifting up my hands, singing . . .
Worthy is The Lamb, so worthy is The Lamb
You gave Your life a sacrifice for me
Now I give You mine, for You have set me free
Worthy is The Lamb, worthy is The Lamb

"Deep" (click on title to hear)
(c) 2002, William Clark

As deep calls to deep
In the roaring of Your waterfall
You come sweeping over me
And the feeling is so wonderful

As deep calls to deep
In the roaring of Your waterfall
You come sweeping over me
And the feeling is so wonderful

When You hold me in Your arms
Wash me in Your word
Streams of living water cover me

From the fountain of Your love
Let Your healing river flow
Let the love of Jesus flood my soul

As deep calls to deep
In the stillness and the solitude
You come quietly to me
And I'm falling so in love with You

As deep calls to deep
In the stillness and the solitude
You come quietly to me
And I'm falling so in love with You

Through the wilderness You come
Calling out my name
Saying "let Me hear your voice and see your face"

So I turn to You and run
To my Lover's strong embrace
How I long to stay here in this place

"Intimacy"

I am standing in Your courtyard at the doorway into Your chambers.
I am terrified even unto death.
How could I even dream that I belong here ?
How dare I be so bold ?
But I am sure that I heard You call out my name.
So up from the depths of all I am, I summon what strength I have
so that I might not faint at this thought of being with You.
This desire I have for You is a deep and flaming passion within me.
But with every passing moment I am torn between remaining and running away.

And then . . .
I smell Your fragrance.
Sweet oils, wild flowers and rare spices mingled together; wafting from within
I am reeling with desire for You.
Then . . . I hear a stirring . . .
Now footsteps.
My Lover is coming for me !
And now the fire within my soul feels like a million suns exploding.

And then I see You in the doorway.
Your beauty is staggering.
And now Your arms are wide open.
All of my senses have been overcome.
So, swooning, I fall into You.

Can this moment be true ?
This moment that I have ached for all my life.
That I might enjoy You ?
And be enjoyed by You ?

You sweep me up into Your arms and gently carry me to Your Lovers' sanctuary.
You lay me down upon Your bed.
Your touch is so tender.
Your kisses are as the brush of a butterfly's wings.

We are together now and there is nothing between us.
I am consumed in You and we are cleaved together as one.
My Beloved is to me and I am to my Beloved.
I have ceased to be.
For I am lost in You.

Lost in You forever . . .

"The Sanctuary of Your Heart" (click on title to hear)
(c) 2001, William Clark/Jason Upton

All I long for is to know You
To be consumed by all You are
Taken in completely
To the sanctuary of Your heart

Just to feel Your love enfold me
To hear You whispering my name
To linger here forever
In the sanctuary of Your heart

Higher . . . to where You are
Deeper . . . into Your love
Take my hand and lead me
Into the sanctuary
The sanctuary of Your heart

I can feel the hands of angels
Come to carry me away
Beyond Your wings that shield me
To the sanctuary of Your heart

In this quiet place of refuge
This shelter from the storm
Cares are swept away here
In the sanctuary of Your heart

Higher . . . to where You are
Deeper . . . into Your love
Take my hand and lead me
Into Your sanctuary
Jesus, won't You change me
From glory unto glory
In the sanctuary of Your heart
The sanctuary of Your heart

"LORD of Lords" (click on title to hear)
(c) 2000, William Clark

I stand before Your throne
For You have called me as Your own
You've made me worthy
By the Blood of Your Lamb
Who cleansed me from my sin
That I might enter in
And worship at the feet of The Great I AM

For You are the Lord of lords, and King of kings
You are the mighty Creator of everything
All Heaven and Earth declare Your glory
As I sing
You are the Lord of lords, and King of kings
Praise to the Lord of lords, and Kings of kings

Unto me draw nigh
As I lift Your Name on high
Let Your Holy Spirit fall on this place
Reach down from up above
And enfold me with Your love
Let me see the wondrous beauty of Your face

All of Your children sing Your praises
As You display Your wondrous beauty
All of the heavens declare Your splendor
As the King of all Creation
All of the elders bow before You
Singing, "Holy, Holy, Holy"

"I'm Your Servant" (click on title to hear)
(c) Parachute Music

Now into Your presence, Lord
I will boldly come
It's only by Your grace, O Lord
It's nothing I have done

Grant me Your servant heart
That I might live like You
And as You set me apart
I will humbly share the love I've found in You

I'm Your servant, here I am
Bended knees and open hands
Lord, I hear Your voice today
Lord, I hear and I obey

When I'm weak will You be strong ?
When I'm lost will You lead me home ?
Though I struggle on the way
Would you use me anyway ?
Lord, I give my life today

"Be Thou My Vision" (click on title to hear)
Public Domain

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul's Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward,
O Power of my power

Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heav'n's joys, O bright heaven's Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

Recently, it struck me that for so long women have had to deal with the concept of being a "son of God", and now I find myself grappling with the revelation of what it means to be the Bridegroom's lover.  It is a startling thing to think about intimacy with Jesus - especially for a man.

"Intimacy" . . . no wonder our understanding of it is so skewed.  For so long now, we have only encouraged Hollywood filmmakers and romance novelists to continue to regale us with their perverted opinion as to what it is.  And I fear even well-meaning Bible commentators have done us a disservice by attempting to dismiss The Song of Songs as poetic metaphor.

Until now - as the frail and finite creatures we are - maybe it is understandable that we could only comprehend "intimacy" from this temporal and carnal frame of reference.

But that day is fast coming to a close and the Wedding Day is dawning.  And I believe Jesus is calling us "deeper . . . higher . . . " in our understanding and experience of what is true intimacy between the Bridegroom and His Bride.  And is it not for joy that the bride and groom look forward to their wedding day?  So that they might know the ecstasy of intimacy that comes from their union ?

So while at The Call Kansas City on New Year's Eve, 2002, Mike Bickle asked those to stand who had a sense that the major thrust of their ministry for the coming season would be a display and impartation of the Bridal love of Jesus.  Many of us stood, and he prayed over us.

The following week, we began this recording.  It is honest.  It is simple.  And my prayer is that it creates the "place" where you might know true intimacy with Jesus.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
With every passing moment, I stand more and more amazed at You, Jesus.  From the very brink of utter destruction, you have so tenderly restored me and brought me into this expansive yet intimate place of Your sanctuary.  I love You.  I thank You.  And I exalt You above all . . . above everything.
Simple words could never, ever adequately convey what I feel for these people, but if I had some way of doing it aright, I would thank:
· Zachary Adam Clark - having you as my son has taught me so much about the love     of the Father, and I love you more than my own life
· Kimberly (King's Meadow; Royal Fortress) - for drawing out the Romantic Warrior in     me . . . I love you
· Mom and Dad, Jimmy, Ann Marie, Pete and Linda - thanks for putting up with me
· Pastor Ron Jones - thank you for always being a speaker of The Truth
· Phil Baquie - thank you for the many hours you spent working on this project and for    so humbly bringing out the best in me
· Mark Padgett - I thank God for your genius - sorry you got so nervous while tracking     "Intimacy"
· Mike Bickle - for helping create a place for the deep experience of true intimacy
· Debra-Louise Cossu, Daughter of The King - thank you for your prayers and for            sending ZEALOT & USHER
· My family at Key of David Ministries - Jason, Rachel, Pete, Doris, Dave, Matt,             Marissa, Brandon - can you believe what the Lord has allowed us to witness as a         family ?
· Pastor Bill & Fontaine Breon - for standing up for me and for giving me a chance (you   can call it "Breakers" if you want to)
· Jim & Denise Parroco - for your nurture and for your care
· John Eldredge, author of "Wild at Heart" - I'm getting "dangerous", and it feels good
· All the guys in m.a.e. - Jacob, Dave, Rob, Matt and Mark - "rock and roll history" just   waiting to happen - you are always in my prayers
